I'm sitting here singing a lullaby I made up for my daughter, swaying the chair back and forth with her in my arms. It's just a little thing but I thought I'd share it for anyone else out there with a little one who needs a little help falling asleep. Feel free to change it to suit your baby.

Lullabye

Sleep, sleep, little girl sleep
Close your eyes and wander deep
Deep in the sea, or high in the sky
Close your eyes, let the world go by.

Sleep, sleep, little girl sleep
Close your eyes, the world will keep
Dream of flowers and rabbits and rain
Dream till you wake and we'll play again.

Sleep, sleep, little girl sleep
Close your eyes, don't make a peep
Mama is here to hold you tight
And keep you safe all through the night.

Sleep, sleep, little girl sleep
Close your eyes and wander deep
Deep in the sea, high in the sky
Close your eyes, let the world go by.
