Letters for Hannah
Many people were moved by Hannah's story and wrote in.
Here are some of the thoughts they shared.
Hannah sounds
like a magnificent little girl. I am very sorry for your loss.
Believe me, all the children at my library will get a little bit of
extra love today just for Hannah.
~Beth
Thank you Alicia for passing this along....
there is a thread on Mothering.com about Hannah.
My heart goes out to her beautful mother and brother...
Peace be with them....
~Emilie
Thank you for passing this on, and for reminding me of what really
matters.
~Jill
Thank you for sharing this. What a wonderful tribute to Hannah. Your
words, along with those in the memorial touched my heart and as you
said reminded me to enjoy my children and to be grateful. Hannah and
her family are inspirations. I will keep them in my prayers.
~Blanca
I wept. Thanks for sharing this amazing little girl's story.
~Bonnie
Thank you for sharing the story of Hannah. What a brave little girl.
My heart goes out to her family. I am participating in the American
Cancer Society Walk for Life on April 29 and 30 and will light a
luminaria in honor of Hannah and her name will be read aloud during a
beautiful ceremony along with others being honored.
~Deb
I am not easily moved to tears but your eulogy had me sobbing and
sobbing and sobbing.
I can't even begin to imagine the pain her poor mother must be in.
~Shez
Wow. Good wishes to your family and Hannah's. What a perfect legacy
to leave... it is definitely a good reminder to me, as I've had sick
family members all week (transient illnesses, thank the powers that be)
who have been needy and whiny, as well as lots of time caring for a
friends' children, and I've been feeling grumpy and a little
resentful. This renews something in me to keep priorities in order and
be grateful for every minute I have with my family and the other
children who are important in our lives. Thank you for sharing Hannah
and her spirit with us - it has made a difference to me today. Please
send this to Hannah's mom if you think it will help at all.
~Pam
Your memorial to your dear friend Hannah touched my heart and brought
me to tears. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family as well as to
her mom and brother. What a difficult, unimaginable loss.
~Kelly
Loved this; read it immediately when I saw it; thanks for sharing;
thanks for the reminder of how to live life; thanks for making THIS a
special newsletter dedicated to Hannah.
~Stacy
Wow, this brought tears to my eyes. My condoleances to you and Hannah's
family.

I'd like to make a bracelet in memory of Hannah that says, "Make every
moment count", as per your message. I think I'll even call it the
Hannah bracelet, and put some information from your post in the
description if it's okay from her mother. I'd also like to make her
mother a bracelet, or I could make her a 1-word pendant if she'd
rather, customized for her.
~Barb
She is a beautiful child and you've written a touching memorial to her
and her family. Thanks for sharing it. I passed it along to family.
~Nancy
I'm so sorry to hear about Hannah. Her family has been through so much
in such a short period of time. Please know you are all (Hannah's
family and your family) in my thoughts and prayers.
~Cristina
Thank you for this. It meant a lot because my 11 year old daughter has
HIV.
~Daneille
This is sad and beautiful. You all have our sympathy.
~Chanin
How sad. This makes you want to hug your kids to you and not let go.
~Sheri
She sounds like a very special
person, her family and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. Please be
assured that in memory of Hannah a little extra love and gratitude for
the priviledge that they are will grace my childrens lives.
~Aileen
Thank you so much for sharing Hannah's life story with me. Her life's
story is such an inspiration to me and certainly a time to reflect.
May God Bless Diana and Hayden along with everyone else who knew Hannah
and everyone who reads her memorial.
