Happy Monday!<\/p>\n

I’m writing this armed with a box of kleenex and lots of hot tea, doing my best to defeat some spring bug that has waylaid half our household (and pretty much losing).\u00a0 So I’ll get right to the good stuff!<\/p>\n

Here’s a few super simple ways to make some magical memories with your kiddos this week…<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Build sand castles.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Eat dinner with the good china, cloth napkins folded in fancy folds, candles and fancy glasses.\u00a0\u00a0 If you like, collect mix and match fancy dishes from garage sales and thrift stores so there’s no guilt if anything breaks.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Do a messy paint craft.\u00a0 You get messy too.\u00a0 Revel in it!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Head to an abandoned lot or field and pick all the dandelions that have gone to seed and blow them all together.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Dance in the rain.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Or try to catch it in your mouth!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 Declare a silly holiday, such as happy kisses day (every time you feel happy you have to grab a family member and give kisses), backwards clothes day, silly hat day and so on.<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 Go beach combing.\u00a0 Or park combing or empty lot combing….<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 Paint a picture, do a design or write a message on your child’s ceiling with glow in the dark paint.<\/p>\n

10. Get snazzy haircuts and send the hair to help with the oil spill.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Note: despite the grown up hairstyle, the presence of a chocolate ice cream mustache.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

And with that, chickadees, I’m off to find more tea!<\/p>\n
