Happy Monday!\u00a0 Looking to make some fun and easy memories with your little (or big) ones this week?\u00a0 Here’s a few ideas…..<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Go walking in the rain.\u00a0 Or drizzle, if your rain dance doesn’t work.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Visit the humane society and volunteer to brush cats, exercise kittens and take dogs for walks.\u00a0 They’re generally happy to have extra help and the animals love the attention.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Decide on a totally silly word or saying to say when you answer the phone.\u00a0 A friend of ours absentmindedly answered the phone recently with “Three!” and the kids and I found it so hilarious we vowed to do the same.\u00a0 Hint:\u00a0 caller ID makes this much easier to do without too much harm or embarrassment.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Go off the beaten path, literally, and explore somewhere you’ve never been before.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Play an old fashioned game with your kids like marbles, hopscotch or jacks.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Grab a pack of colorful sidewalk chalk and head out to make the world more cheerful.\u00a0 Have the kids leave happy faces, sweet notes, rainbows, silly cat faces, flowers, goofy aliens, you name it, in various places just to make people smile.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 Play mud tag.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 Get a DVD of a favorite TV series from your childhood from Netflix or the library and watch it with your kids.\u00a0 Prepare to feel old and cheesy.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 Plant a row of sunflowers and see if you can get them to grow taller than the kids.\u00a0 Even better, see if you can get them to grow taller than you!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10. Make a bean teepee<\/a> for the kids.\u00a0 This year we really must finally get to this project!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
