{"id":68,"date":"2009-04-21T00:52:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-21T00:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/21\/kool-aid-playdough-and-blow-darts\/"},"modified":"2009-04-21T00:52:00","modified_gmt":"2009-04-21T00:52:00","slug":"kool-aid-playdough-and-blow-darts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/21\/kool-aid-playdough-and-blow-darts\/","title":{"rendered":"Kool-Aid Playdough (and blow darts!)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"color:rgb(0,51,204);\"><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><strong><em><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" height=\"150\" width=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3551\/3461276021_7c51da2cf5.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><em><strong><span style=\"color:rgb(0,0,153);\"><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\"><span style=\"color:rgb(0,0,204);\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-size:medium;\">Yesterday, Jack and I stopped by the local grocery store and they had a sale on kool-aid.&nbsp; I don&#8217;t make kool-aid to drink but I buy it on sale for craft recipes.&nbsp; \ud83d\ude42&nbsp; We picked out a handful of good colors and then he chose one (Electric Blue!)&nbsp; to make <span>Kool-Aid Playdough<\/span> with.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color:rgb(0,51,204);\"><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><strong><em><br \/>Here&#8217;s the recipe:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Kool-Aid Playdough<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * 1 c flour<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * 1\/2 c salt<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * 3 T cooking oil<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * 1 pkg unsweetened, powdered drink mix like kool-aid<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * 1 c boiling water<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" height=\"203\" width=\"250\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3295\/3462091076_52d337c939.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; 1. Mix together flour, salt, oil, and Kool-aid.<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp; 2. Add the cup of boiling water. Mix well and allow to cool slightly.<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp; 3. Knead the mixture until it forms a soft dough.&nbsp; It feels especially wonderful while still warm!<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp; 4.
