{"id":669,"date":"2010-03-30T04:52:41","date_gmt":"2010-03-30T04:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/?p=669"},"modified":"2010-03-30T04:52:41","modified_gmt":"2010-03-30T04:52:41","slug":"little-things","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/blog\/2010\/03\/30\/little-things\/","title":{"rendered":"Little Things"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3022\/2589899853_3c47f5861a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I just stumbled on this old photo buried on Flickr and it made me smile.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, if an old van pulled up across the street and someone started taking pictures you&#8217;d probably think your cover was blown, but we know the newspaper editor of our tiny town so I kept blowing and the kids kept playing.<\/p>\n<p>The kids were delighted the next Wednesday to see their picture in the paper.\u00a0 We have also had a particularly fabulous snowman, several visits with Santa and quite a few play performances memorialized in the paper.\u00a0 There are advantages to living in a town so small that they still print the &#8220;news&#8221; of who went visiting whom on Sunday afternoon.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Have you blown bubbles lately?\u00a0 We&#8217;ve painted and planted and pruned and wandered this week, but I still haven&#8217;t gotten to the bubbles.\u00a0 They always make us smile so they&#8217;re definitely on the to-do list for this week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just stumbled on this old photo buried on Flickr and it made me smile.
