{"id":277,"date":"2009-11-04T21:51:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-04T21:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/2009\/11\/04\/meet-the-roundbottoms\/"},"modified":"2009-11-04T21:51:00","modified_gmt":"2009-11-04T21:51:00","slug":"meet-the-roundbottoms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/04\/meet-the-roundbottoms\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet the Roundbottoms"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><span style=\"color:rgb(153,51,0);\">Tonight I was taking a bath with Alex<br \/>when Anna came in with a notebook and pencil.<br \/>She introduced herself as Allison Somebody<br \/>and wanted to interview me.<\/p>\n<p>I said sure.<\/p>\n<p>She asked how many kids I had, <br \/>so I answered 17.<\/p>\n<p>She wanted to know their names.<br \/>Sure, I told her,<br \/>There&#8217;s Twinkletoes Roundbottom here<br \/>(Junior really, he&#8217;s named after his daddy)<br \/>and Eggbeater,<br \/>oh yes, and Lizardlump Roundbottom&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Victoria heard from the other room <br \/>and had to come join us.<br \/>For some reason my girls were laughing so hard<br \/>they kept nearly falling over.<br \/>It might have had something to do with the funny accent too.<\/p>\n<p>Just then my 6 year old, Higglebott, came in.<br \/>He really prefers to be called Jack.<br \/>But Swarky Daffodill Strangebottom<br \/>(also known as Victoria)<br \/>didn&#8217;t mind her name at all<br \/>as long as I&#8217;d answer her questions too.<\/p>\n<p>Those girls wanted to know about discipline<br \/>(throwing spoons, I told &#8217;em)<br \/>and sleeping arrangements<br \/>(the kids sleep on the roof<br \/>and it&#8217;s sloped, ya know &#8212;<br \/>all night long I hear tumble tumble tumble BONK).<\/p>\n<p>Higglebott ended up climbing into the bath too<br \/>while Swarky and Chickenlips Eugenia interviewed me.<br \/>I told a lot of stories about our family adventures.<br \/>Boy have I done some dumb things.<br \/>Boy do my children laugh a lot.<\/p>\n<p>We made so much noise Daddy went downstairs to watch his show.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><span style=\"color:rgb(153,51,0);\">I have such a small bathroom<br \/>and I never get a bath to myself.<\/p>\n<p>Rotten children.<\/p>\n<p>Just wait till I find my spoons.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\ude42<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight I was taking a bath with Alexwhen Anna came in with a notebook and pencil.She introduced herself as Allison Somebodyand wanted to interview me.
