Happy Monday!\u00a0 Here’s a few ways to make a little magic with your kiddos this week….<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0 Make a paper hideaway.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span> Hang strips of crepe paper (or toilet paper in a pinch) from the ceiling in a corner of the kids\u2019 room or the living room.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Head to a pet store.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> Spend some time with the fishes, birdies and beasties.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/span>Have the kids draw with markers or crayons just using their feet.\u00a0<\/span> It may help to tape down the paper on the floor.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/span>Learn a song together and videotape yourselves singing it.<\/span> \u00a0Be as flamboyant as possible! \u00a0<\/span><\/span>Send the clip to loved ones and spread some smiles.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 <\/span>Head outside to do a photo shoot.<\/span>\u00a0 Put the kids in charge of choosing how and where to pose!<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Make some of these lovely glue suncatchers.<\/span><\/a> <\/span>These ones are from tales from a corner house.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8. <\/strong><\/span>Leave silly notes in hiding places all over the house.<\/span> It may take months for somebody to stumble on all of them, but it\u2019s a wonderful way to break up an ordinary day to suddenly stumble on a note that says \u201cMama loves you\u201d or \u201cKisses!\u00a0 You must come give your grandma 18 kisses immediately upon finding this!\u201d. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 Assemble a feast for the birds and beasties outside.\u00a0<\/span> Leave it where you can watch them nibble. Ears of dried corn, peanuts in the shell, berries, seeds and sliced fruit are all favorites.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> <\/span>Got Friday off?\u00a0 Spend the day together at\u00a0 home.\u00a0<\/span> Watch movies, pop popcorn, bake treats, make crafts, whatever.\u00a0 Start the holiday season doing something you love with people you love. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now I’m off to get started on approximately one hundred and five things on my to-do list.\u00a0 And drink tea.\u00a0 Lots of English tea with too much almond milk and sugar.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
