Happy Monday!\u00a0 Sorry I keep disappearing for so long!\u00a0 Since I didn’t have nearly enough things to keep me frazzled, I decided to take part in NaNoWriMo<\/a> this year and I’ve been writing a book all month, too!\u00a0 Fifty thousand words takes a bit of time, it turns out.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In any case, here’s a few ways to make a little magic this week…<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Grab some leftover Halloween face paints (or makeup) and do face painting with the kids.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Bake cookies for loved ones and decorate them with words representing all the things you love about them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Sit and draw crayon portraits of each other. No artistic talent necessary.\u00a0 Display the finished masterpieces.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Bake no-knead bread<\/span><\/a> together.\u00a0 Gluten free?\u00a0 Then make this one<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Make a fun portable hammock with a sheet and two grown ups
\nholding the corners.\u00a0 Swing your favorite little person in the middle of it.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6. Hide funny little notes all over the house. See how long it takes for people to find them all.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

7. Take fun family photos of your shadows.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8. Climb a tree together and do something up there (homework, read a book, sit and talk, have a snack\u2026).<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> Get a blank book and encourage all of the family members to write, draw, etc. it in every day or two as a sweet family memento.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
