I hope all is well with you and yours.\u00a0 Here’s a few ways to make some memories with your kiddos this week….<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Make some playdough pumpkin faces.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Make a spooky family message for the answering machine.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Play Household Chore Bingo<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 Add some silly ones too!<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/strong>
\n4.\u00a0 Cancel everything and just hang out together.\u00a0 Sit on the porch swing and talk, go for a walk, bake bread or sort through old pictures and do a scrapbook together.<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Make painted jar luminaries like these from Crafts By Amanda<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Assign each family member the task of writing up 3 interview questions for the family.\u00a0 Drop them in a jack-o-lantern or big bowl and put them in the center of the table to read during lunch.\u00a0 Take turns drawing a question and answering it, then pass the pumpkin to the next person.\u00a0 The questions can be silly (If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would it be?) or serious (What is something you did but later wished you hadn\u2019t?\u00a0 What is something you\u2019re really proud of?).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 Take the time to write a letter to your child, just saying how much you love him and some things you\u2019ve enjoyed doing with him lately.\u00a0 Tuck it in a school book for him to find later.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 Go to a book reading at a local bookstore.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 Gather a pile of leaves and dive into them together.\u00a0 Make a wild, wonderful mess.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10. Set up a picnic table or card table outside and have a fall picnic supper.\u00a0 Light a Jack-o-lantern for a centerpiece and serve hot cider or cocoa to keep folks toasty warm.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
