{"id":174,"date":"2009-07-22T18:11:00","date_gmt":"2009-07-22T18:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/2009\/07\/22\/easy-lollipops\/"},"modified":"2009-07-22T18:11:00","modified_gmt":"2009-07-22T18:11:00","slug":"easy-lollipops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/blog\/2009\/07\/22\/easy-lollipops\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Lollipops!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><span style=\"color:rgb(255,102,0);\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3442\/3744563617_1821f9c9c1.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:medium;\"><span style=\"color:rgb(255,102,0);\"><strong><br \/>I saw this fun recipe on <a href=\"http:\/\/chiccookiekits.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/easy-lollies.html\">The Decorated Cookie<\/a> and thought it looked too fun to pass up!<\/p>\n<p>I am usually an all natural kind of mama, but anything that combines art and candy can&#8217;t be all bad.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s so simple too&#8230;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\">Just pick your candies (we used Jolly Ranchers) and arrange as you fancy.&nbsp; This is very serious business.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2619\/3745359326_7d9699ce7e.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Put them on a cookie sheet with tin foil.&nbsp; The recipe called for parchment paper on top of tin foil but that stuck for us.&nbsp; Tinfoil worked much better!&nbsp; Stack them with lots of room for them to spread (and room for the sticks!).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2620\/3745359416_d4a403218f.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bake in a preheated oven at 275 for 6 minutes, or until they have just melted.&nbsp; Immediately take from the oven and insert a lollipop stick, turning to coat it in the candy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2548\/3744562881_3ab28bddce.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let cool completely and tear the tinfoil to fold it over and wrap the lollipops.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2647\/3745360282_90685c887f.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Be sure to leave some unwrapped to enjoy immediately!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2640\/3744563121_7c5b1df767.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3491\/3744563243_f7372a6699.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jack couldn&#8217;t decide on flavors so he opted for total lollipop gluttony.&nbsp; \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2459\/3744563365_0e2df38872.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mama&#8217;s personal favorite:&nbsp; sour apple and watermelon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I saw this fun recipe on The Decorated Cookie and thought it looked too fun to pass up!
