{"id":1457,"date":"2011-03-23T22:01:47","date_gmt":"2011-03-23T22:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/?p=1457"},"modified":"2011-03-23T22:01:47","modified_gmt":"2011-03-23T22:01:47","slug":"a-heartbeat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/23\/a-heartbeat\/","title":{"rendered":"A Heartbeat!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><strong>Most of you know that we got some <em>very<\/em> surprising <a href=\"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/2011\/02\/10\/snapshots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> in early February that we were expecting.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>I had been doing my best to see myself as <em>pregnant<\/em> but not necessarily as <em>having a baby<\/em>, because with my history of miscarriage (and my age) I knew there was a high chance of something going wrong.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>That said, nothing seems to have gone wrong so far!\u00a0 And yesterday, <span style=\"color:#ff9900;\">all four kids got to join their daddy and me at the doctor&#8217;s office<\/span> and <span style=\"color:#008000;\"><em>listen to the heartbeat<\/em>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000080;\"><strong>Wow.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>There may have been just a few happy tears.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>This baby thing might just be happening after all.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">Which means we might have five children next fall.<\/span> <span style=\"color:#ff9900;\">Five! <\/span> Yowza!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>This week, my horrible morning (and afternoon and evening) sickness seems to finally be coming under control, so I&#8217;ll try to post a bit more regularly again!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>I&#8217;m also going to try to get the living room in order, start all my seeds, do more crafts, clean off the window seat and try a fabulous sounding healthy chocolate truffle recipe, <span style=\"color:#008000;\">but in all honesty I really don&#8217;t care!<\/span> <span style=\"color:#ff9900;\">As long as I can keep us in healthy food, cuddle with my kiddos and not be too violently ill, I&#8217;m calling it good. <\/span> \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#333399;\"><strong>Fingers crossed&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most of you know that we got some very surprising news in early February that we were expecting.
