Happy Monday!\u00a0 Here’s some ways to add some magic to life this week…<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

1. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Make a giant hammock swing out of a big towel, blanket or sheet.\u00a0 Have two adults hold it, one on each end, and swing your kiddos in the middle.\u00a0 Only one adult available?\u00a0 Pull them around on the kitchen floor on it!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Dry winter skin?\u00a0 Let your little ones paint each other (or Mom!) with paintbrushes and lotion.\u00a0 Backs and legs make great canvases!\u00a0 When they’re done, rub it in and start over!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 If you’re in a cold climate, escape winter by going to an indoor butterfly house or arboretum.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Use all different colors of eyeliners and lipliners to draw fantasy-like designs on your child’s face.\u00a0 Yours too if you’re brave!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Go to the grocery store and pick out produce to eat this week to use the seeds for planting.\u00a0 Start the seeds in egg cartons and transplant them into indoor pots or the garden later in the spring.\u00a0 Do keep in mind that the grocery store produce is chosen for its shelf life, looks and durability more than its taste, so be sure to get some real seed packets for your garden too! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Make these<\/a> adorable pine cone gnomes and felt heart pins from Garden Mama.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 Hold a Ten Thing Party.\u00a0 Invite friends to each bring ten things they no longer want that would make someone else happy (nice outgrown clothes, toys, board games, sports equipment…).\u00a0 Lay out all the things on a big table and have people take turns picking something new to take home.\u00a0 Donate anything left over to charity.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 Take “punny” pictures.\u00a0 Have your kids act out puns or sayings and email them to loved ones.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9. Mod podge some fabric heart rocks<\/a> for Valentines Day like Artful Parent’s.\u00a0 Aren’t they gorgeous????\u00a0 What a fun way to use cute fabric scraps! <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Have an Indoor Campout<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re lucky enough to have a fireplace, why not have an indoor campout? Set up a tent, drag all the plants into the living room, and start a fire. Turn out the lights. You can roast weenies, make S\u2019Mores, and tell ghost stories.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
