Dream House Elements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">I currently live in my dream house because: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>a)\u00a0 We own it outright, and <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>b)\u00a0 It has walls, heat, running water and room outside to garden and play.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">I&#8217;m not awfully picky. <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">\ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\"> Just (a) would have had me happy.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>BUT&#8230;<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">If I were going to design my dream house, here&#8217;s some things it would have in it&#8230;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">A fireman&#8217;s pole from every floor<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Swings in the children&#8217;s rooms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Room for a piano<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Windows everywhere<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Woods in the back yard<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">Lots of places to climb (inside and out)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">A dining room table big enough for twelve (minimum)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">An art room with built in easels, a drain in the floor and a hose for quick cleaning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">A hot tub<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">A play room with a built-in trampoline<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">And a slide like this to rel=\"noopener\">Dezeen<\/a>.)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">Honestl<\/span><span style=\"color:#008000;\">y, I do love my house.\u00a0 I love that it came to us so old and bedraggled, because it gave us free reign to do whatever we liked.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">The old door to Victoria&#8217;s room was so banged up, blackboard paint and magenta trim was perfect for it.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn2-b.examiner.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/image_full_width\/hash\/97\/67\/976736003426d26278518f34ca5f68ac.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"323\" height=\"430\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">The weathered, painted stairs called out for words stenciled on them like Hope and Dream and Imagine.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">(S<\/span><\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">peakin<\/span><\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">g of imagining, I can&#8217;t find the lovely picture of the girls on the stairs that I was going to put here so you&#8217;ll have to imagine it!)<\/span><\/span><\/em><strong><em><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">And what&#8217;s the harm in letting the children paint the inside of the cupboard doors when they&#8217;re so old and tacky to begin with?\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>But just the same, it is fun to dream sometimes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><span style=\"color:#ff6600;\"><span style=\"color:#008000;\">Join in!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><span
