by!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#003366;\"><strong>Here&#8217;s a few ways to make them memorable along the way.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#4fb81e;\">1.\u00a0 Start saving a bunch of seeds and end bits from fruits and veggies you eat and plant them.\u00a0 Use <a href=\"http:\/\/planetgreen.discovery.com\/home-garden\/sixtysixthings-growhome-containers-withoutgarden.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this list<\/a> to find out all the fabulous things you can try to grow (without a garden, sometimes inside!) at home.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff6600;\"><strong>2.\u00a0 Put out a muffin tin with colored water for your little one to do some color mixing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff6600;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" pan of that to dribble the colored water onto too!<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">3.\u00a0 Take your child to the library with the task of picking out any book at all to start as a new read-aloud.\u00a0 Read it together at least once a day.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">4.\u00a0 Take your kids sledding.\u00a0 No snow?\u00a0 No problem!\u00a0 Pull them around the kitchen on towels. <\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\"><strong>5.\u00a0 Make some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craftstylish.com\/item\/8586\/how-to-make-paper-ornaments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">paper ornaments<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#666699;\">6.\u00a0 Make the dining room table into a buffet restaurant for dinner.\u00a0 Put out bowls of heated up leftovers, salad with bowls of topping, cut fruit and so on.\u00a0 Assign each child the task of putting together two items for the buffet.\u00a0 Younger kids can open a can of spaghettios and warm them up or slice fruit, and so on.\u00a0 Older kids can make simple dishes or desserts to serve.\u00a0\u00a0 Then sit down and enjoy it together!<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#800080;\">7.\u00a0 Listen to music from another country, in whatever format you choose.\u00a0 Have the kids take turns picking a country and a style of music to try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.surfmusic.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> and then listen live (no special equipment needed in most cases). <\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#008080;\"><strong>8.\u00a0 Go swimming!\u00a0 No pool nearby to use?\u00a0 Try calling local hotels and see if they&#8217;ll let your family use their pool for a small fee.\u00a0 Many will, especially during down times during the together.\u00a0 Wear tiaras and aprons, superman capes and so on.\u00a0 Have fun and be silly!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\"><strong>10.<\/strong><strong> Take a wacky holiday photo every day till New Year&#8217;s Day.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\"
