You know how there are mothers who have a place for everything and always know exactly where things are?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am not one of those\u00a0 mothers. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am one of those mothers who usually knows where most things are, even in the midst of clutter and chaos, except in one big area — shoes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the fact that we have somewhere near 80,000 pairs, my children are almost always either barefoot or sporting amazingly inappropriate footwear (Jack is prone to wearing Uggs with shorts, for instance, or Anna’s cleats or cowboy boots).\u00a0 We simply never can find the things — or two that match, anyway. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The other day, we were running very late and I sent everybody scrambling to locate Alex’s shoes. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We found four…<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

None matching.\u00a0 Of course.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It took another 10 minutes to finally find a match.\u00a0 Except…<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

They were way too big. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So socks were in order. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So then, of course, we all had to look for socks.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Who says socks have to match?\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Someday I’ll know where all the shoes are.\u00a0 Socks too.\u00a0 I’ll be organized and everything will be tidy. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Okay, probably not, but I can pretend!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the meantime, I’d much rather do an art project about shoes!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And last, but not least, easy removable flowers to add to toddler shoes at happy together…<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
