{"id":1198,"date":"2010-11-01T05:22:32","date_gmt":"2010-11-01T05:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/?p=1198"},"modified":"2010-11-01T05:22:32","modified_gmt":"2010-11-01T05:22:32","slug":"10-ways-to-make-today-magical-70","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/blog\/2010\/11\/01\/10-ways-to-make-today-magical-70\/","title":{"rendered":"10 Ways to Make Today Magical"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong><em>Happy Monday!\u00a0 I hope you and your kiddos enjoyed Halloween (for those who celebrate) and you enjoyed your weekend (for those who don&#8217;t)!<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong><em>Here are a few ways to make some memories with your sweeties this week&#8230;.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>1.\u00a0 Announce to the kids that you&#8217;re all going to wear the alphabet!\u00a0 Go on a family adventure to dress each other with every letter of the alphabet.\u00a0 For instance&#8230;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Apples on baby&#8217;s shirt<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#3366ff;\"><strong>Blue pants<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#ff9900;\"><strong>Corduroy jumper<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#339966;\"><strong>a Dress on Mama&#8230;..<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>You&#8217;ll have to get really creative and silly for some of the letters!\u00a0 See how many you can do!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">2.\u00a0 Keep dressing in costume all week.\u00a0 Why put away the dress up stuff after just one day?\u00a0 Have pirates, monsters, movie stars and other fun characters around especially at mealtimes and such.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\"><span style=\"color:#008080;\">3.\u00a0 Bake fresh rolls for supper.\u00a0 It&#8217;s easier than you might think, especially if you make the dough together the night before.\u00a0 Then experiment with ways to prepare them (Parker House rolls, crescent rolls, fan tans&#8230;).<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\"><span style=\"color:#008080;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4070\/5130183815_b79a826a3d.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\"><span style=\"color:#008080;\"><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">3. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Adopt a person.\u00a0 As a family, decide on somebody who needs some magic.\u00a0 Find an anonymous way to do a good thing for her or him.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff9900;\"><strong>4.\u00a0 Mix some pumpkin pie spice in a batch of homemade playdough for a wonderful fall scent.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><strong>5.\u00a0 Be randomly silly at least once a day.\u00a0 Suddenly stick your tongue out at your child at dinner time.\u00a0 Make faces at your hubby while he&#8217;s not looking and see if you can crack up the kids.\u00a0 Leave a groaner of a joke in your child&#8217;s lunch box&#8230;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">6. Do something fun with leftover Halloween candy, like science experiments or decorating cupcakes to deliver to a local fire station.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">7.\u00a0 Be <a href=\"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.wordpress.com\/2009\/11\/04\/meet-the-roundbottoms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Roundbottoms<\/a>.\u00a0 Or your own version of a nutty family.\u00a0 This is especially silly in public, if you get into character together and make it up as you go along.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\"><strong>8.\u00a0 Bake up some pumpkins to <a href=\"http:\/\/magicalchildhood.com\/life\/2017\/11\/02\/how-to-make-your-own-pumpkin-puree\/\">make your own puree<\/a> and bake some fresh goodies.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4028\/5130785116_4d6fe52a63.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">9.\u00a0 Bob for apples.\u00a0 It&#8217;s harder than you think!<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff6600;\">10.
