Victoria is in love! Our friend Erica got some baby chicks last month and we’ve been visiting. Victoria has wanted to raise a few back yard chickens for ages but I’m pretty sure our little town doesn’t allow it. Erica told Victoria that she could co-parent this little chicken with her and my girl is thrilled!
Victoria has named her Gertrude (Gert or Gertie for short).
She’s about 5 weeks old and is an egg layer (phew).
She likes shoulders.
Anna had to get into the action too, with her own chicken.
Chickens seem to be the season’s hottest accessory. 😉
