Here’s a fun way to make today magical. Go puddle stomping! No rain lately? Drag out some of the yard furniture from storage and hose it off for a good excuse to make a quick puddle. 🙂 Make sure you stomp and splash too. It’ll make you grin despite yourself. Have a magical day!

It’s the Little Things…
Sometimes it’s the little things that can make you smile the most! I love these shots of Alex on Sunday, hanging out at Grandma & Grandpa’s house and joyfully discovering a boxelder bug. 🙂 It’s definitely the little things that make me smile too. 😉
10 Ways to Make Today Magical
10 Ways to Make Today Magical… 1. Go to a local art museum with your kids and find some art techniques to try out at home. We’ve been inspired by block printing, mixing bits of yarn in with paint and lots of types of photography. See what neat ideas you can find!2. Find a community…
On Saying No to Children…
"Except in rare times of great stress or danger, there is no reason why we cannot say ‘No’ to children in just as kind a way as we say ‘Yes’. Both are words. Both convey ideas which even tiny children are smart enough to grasp. One says, ‘We don’t do it that way’, the other…
New Ways to Use Egg Dye Tablets?

Fun Uses for Plastic Eggs
Here’s a fun little project to use those plastic eggs after Easter. He even has dried beans in his tail so he rattles! I noticed that the plastic eggs we bought this year had little holes in them already (I suspect it’s so they’re not as much of a suffocation hazard for little ones) so they…
Seed Fun!
We’re getting together with some friends today to have a seed themed playdate. We’re planting seeds in little eggshell men (crack the egg on top and draw a face, then plant grass seed that will eventually grow into the "hair") and we may do the classic seed in a baggie bit (put a wet paper…
