Now that spring is finally here, my kids have been spending a lot of time outside. Today my daughters came in from some time outside and proudly showed off some fairy wands they’d assembled from odds and ends of nature that they found.
I thought they were adorable!
Anna made hers by simply pushing lots of dried leaves up to the end of a dried lily stalk.
Victoria’s was a dried lily stalk with a rose hip pushed into the tip.
I offered them paint pens and markers to further decorate them. Victoria wanted to leave hers natural but she made a new one.
Anna drew a dainty pattern up and down the stem of her leaf wand, but the picture didn’t turn out so you’ll have to take my word that it was lovely. 😉
Even Jack joined in on the fun and made one later.
It was a simple, sweet craft and I thought you might like to try it with your kiddos too.
